I layered coronet, piercework nickel over copper, with bronze and silver-plated bronze accents, and Swarovski pearls. The Latin phrase “Quarite Lux Vestra” (Seek your Light) is hand sawn into the nickel band, revealing the copper layer underneath, these two bands are both framed in, and bound together by, nickel wire and the whole piece is decorated by bronze skeps (period beehives) and silver-plated bronze bees. This coronet took approximately 27 hours of effort.
